Last fall my in-laws told me someone had informed them that the Farmer’s Almanac said this would be a bad winter. I immediately had visions of mounds of snow and not seeing the ground until Easter. A winter similar to the one we had four or five years ago.
Now I know there is another kind of “bad” winter. A cold one. We have not had much snow at all, but we have had plenty of icy cold “arctic” temperatures. Normally we get these temps for about a week or so in the winter. This time it has been almost every day.
The kids have done well entertaining themselves indoors.
