I think the frost and snow are finally out of the forecast (I really, really hope so anyway). Time to get our garden started. Yesterday my hubby filled up the planters. Today we transplanted our baby plants.
Time will tell if these poor plants will survive the change, made possible with the help of kids.
In this picture we have pickling cucumbers, carrots, garlic, peas, and sweet potato. Elsewhere we planted sunflowers, basil, bok choy, poppies, and holly hocks.
The other day our neighbor came over to help us clean up our asparagus/onion patch. I learned a lot of new things from her!
