Summer is done. It is officially time to start up homeschooling again. When she turned three we started “preschool”. In this state, she will not start Kindergarten until next year when she is five (also homeschooling). I debated what to call this year and settled on “K-4”. I know terms are not necessary, but I like them and find them useful.
A big focus this year is reading with “Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons.” I have heard good things about this. Also starting to learn how to write using the Handwriting Without Tears method (also heard good things about this). There are other things we will do too, but those are the two main ones. Kiki is eager to learn and I am excited for the new school year. It is so much fun to watch her learn and have the lessons grow with her.
Lulu is enjoying school time too with some chalk drawings. Next year she turns three and will most likely be more than ready to start preschool.
