Fun and easy project for a bright sunny day. I cut out some different shapes and letters out of construction paper. The girls taped them onto another piece of construction paper … along with a flower. Then they got excited and dumped mulch and dried up cut grass on their pictures too. We taped the pictures to the ground and let the sun do its part. In the afternoon we took everything off of the big piece of paper to see how the sun had “painted” their picture. They really enjoyed it. Even the neighbor girls (10 & 12 years old) had never seen this before and thought it was pretty neat.
